The unique two piece design includes a thread on base to go where the stock filter normally resides, and then the upper riser body is installed in your choice of four positions. Please use caution when installing, and do not exceed the regular oil filter torque specs recommended by the manufacturer.
CNC machined billet aluminum is black anodized for great looks and protection from oxidation.
