K-Tech Suspension Announces 2012 AMA Contingency & Trackside Support Programs
K-Tech Suspension Ltd. based in Derbyshire, U.K., and Orient Express of Brentwood, New York are excited to announce renewed and expanded contingency for the 2012 AMA Pro Road Racing season.
The 2012 K-Tech Suspension contingency program totals over $50,000 and covers 20DDS and 25IDS front fork cartridges, 35DDS and MT35 rear shocks, and K-Tech steering dampers. K-Tech Suspension has posted over $50,000 in contingency which offers racers a great incentive to experience the enhanced control and feedback offered by K-Tech products.
Building on the success of previous seasons work K-Tech Suspension will continue to offer trackside support at all 2012 AMA Pro Road Racing events. K-Tech personnel will be available at all AMA rounds to offer suspension tuning, set up, and consulting for K-Tech equipped riders and teams. K-Tech Suspension engineers from the U.K. will be present at select events to assist in developing suspension solutions, evaluating data, and discussing performance goals.
K-Tech Suspension is proud to be supporting Michael Jordan Motorsports again for the 2012 AMA Superbike season. Jordan Suzuki rider Ben Bostrom returns aboard the #23 GSXR 1000 equipped with K-Tech Suspension 20DDS front fork cartridges and a 35DDS rear shock. The #54 National Guard Jordan Suzuki GSXR 1000 is again in the capable hands of Roger Hayden, and features K-Tech Suspension front and rear as well.
Celtic Racing enters the Motorcycle-SuperStore.com 600 SuperSport class with two machines this season, and K-Tech Suspension 20DDS front fork cartridges and 35DDS rear shocks are the choice for both machines. James Rispoli, the defending 600 SuperSport Champion will ride his #1 plated Celtic/Orient Express Racing GSXR 600 alongside teammate Corey Alexander on the #5 National Guard/Fairhills Group machine.
The GoPro Daytona SportBike class features heavily modified production based machines and some of the largest entry fields at each event. K-Tech Suspension is pleased to welcome Meen Motorsports (formerly GP Bike Parts) rider Bobby Fong back to action aboard his Yamaha YZF 600 R6 equipped with K-Tech 20DDS front fork cartridges and a 35DDS rear shock.
The 2012 season will see Bartels' Harley-Davidson/Josh Chisum Racing fielding three machines in the Vance & Hines XR1200 class. Tyler O'Hara, Michael Barnes, and Josh Chisum will ride identically prepared Bartels' XR1200's with K-Tech 25IDS front fork cartridges and MT35 rear shocks for maximum control and precise feel at the limit.
