The Power Commander V (PCV) Ignition module allows you to advance or retard the ignition curve up to 10 degrees based on throttle position and RPM. It can be set up to control each cylinder individually if required. Programming of your ignition curve should be performed by an Authorized Power Commander Tuning Center like Orient Express. Improper adjustments to your ignition timing may cause catastrophic engine failure, please call before installing. The Ignition module has a standard ignition map loaded when new and this is recommended for most users, or when used with a Quick Shifter.
