The Pulse P1 is a completely revised design and new to the market for 2011. It is suitable for a wide range of motorcycles up to and including 600cc 4-cylinder sportbikes with the original stator and charing system. In its professional debut at Daytona International Speedway, Pulse P1 equipped riders won both AMA Pro Supersport races and took 4 of 6 podium positions. Used by AMA Daytona Sportbike and AMA Supersport racers Eric Stump, Tomas Puerta, Daniel Guevara, Huntley Nash, Joey Pascarella, and countless others. This is the battery that the KTM North America SX and MX teams use in their 250cc and 350cc bikes. The Pulse P1 offers AMA championship winning components previously only available to the factory teams. Pulse P1 is suitable for 600cc sportbikes in race trim, and dirt bikes less than 450cc.
Weighing just 430 grams (0.95 lb) the Pulse P1 will save an average of 7 pounds when compared to a stock battery, while providing extra cranking capability. It offers integrated brass terminals (screw in posts) making it a direct replacement for your stock battery with no modification or special wiring harness required.
Fully compatible with your motorcycle's stock charging system. We recommend using the Pacemaker or CV Charger with all Pulse and Genesis battery systems, which are designed for lithium cells. Standard chargers will not work properly with lithium cells. We also recommend disconnecting your Pulse or Genesis battery when the motorcycle will not be used for an extended period of time (more than 3 days) to prevent self-discharging which may permanently harm your battery.
