If you follow motorcycle drag racing, you know the names of Dave Vantine and John Ganey. Working closely with Orient Express and PCW Racing, Vantine and Ganey have developed a new ProMod Kawasaki, based on a C&W chassis. Orient Express is pleased to announce the release of our new 1500cc Kawasaki ProMod monster!?
The C&W chassis is mated with custom Performance Machine wheels and brakes, a Mickey Thompson front tire and a Goodyear rear. The 1500cc air and oil cooled Kawasaki motor features a Ward Vortex 2 valve cylinder head with titanium valves and custom ground camshafts. MTC 85mm pistons squeeze the air, fuel, and NOS for big power. The bottom end is all custom, pinned and welded for durability and strength. A Racepak V300 data recorder keeps track of 18 channels of information for precision control and feedback of all the systems on board. A Schnitz Racing NOS controller was chosen for ignition and NOS control, for it?s great flexibility and ease of use. Nitrous Oxide Systems was selected as the source for the nitrous delivery, and this 1500cc beast devours lots of it!?
