Orient Express is proud to sponsor Celtic Racing in their AMA Pro Road Racing efforts. Congratulations to PJ Jacobsen and the entire Celtic Racing crew - PJ took Pole Position as the #1 qualifier in his AMA Pro Road Racing debut! Having just turned 16, PJ's first event was the AMA Pro Road Racing season finale at NJ Motorsports Park, September 4-6th 2009. The fast lap in Supersport aboard his Orient Express tuned CBR 600RR was 1:24.391. Orient Express looks forward to next season and to help the continued success of this fast young gun! PJ is no stranger to the race track - he has spent the 2009 season in Spain racing in their national series, and was also part of the Red Bull rookies cup.

Damian Cudlin of Australia filled in for Michael Laverty on the Celtic Racing GSXR 1000 at NJ Motorsports Park. Laverty was unavailable due to a World Supersport conflict, and with some quick arrangements and assistance from fellow Aussie Mat Mladin, Cudlin found a comfortable spot on board the machine Laverty piloted until now. Cudlin had no problem getting quickly up to speed on the big GSXR. Damian impressed everyone by qualifying in 10th position and securing a spot in the hyper competitive SuperPole qualifing round. SuperPole saw Damian get bumped back to 13th position on the grid, but still ahead of several series regulars and factory riders. Damian worked hard in the first Superbike race, on a largely unfamiliar track, and managed to finish race one in 9th, ahead of several factory riders. The second Superbike race saw Cudlin improve his finishing position by one, to finish a strong 8th - Congratulations on a great weekend Damian!

Orient Express is also pleased to support Steve Giacomara in the CCS/Loudon Road Racing Series. Steve rides the #8 Expert Yamaha R6 in several classes up at Loudon. As a consistent top five finisher with numerous race wins, Steve is a force to be reckoned with at Loudon and other east coast venues!
